What decides whether an animal will accept it
Noise against airflow
More airflow dries faster, and a louder dryer frightens the animal. The airflow path and the motor are tuned together to get both.
Temperature safety
Output temperature is limited in hardware and software, because a pet cannot say it is too hot.
Coats and sizes
A short coat and a double coat need very different airflow. The steps and the nozzles are designed around real coats.
